Peer Review

 

    Regarding the feedback I received from my peers, I found it to be very helpful. I was aware from the start that it would need some heavy editing, but I was unsure as to what to do for most of it. My cover was the one thing I knew how to fix, as the main issues was the lighting, which my peers did take note of. For my content page, one of my minor issues was the inclusion of the number symbol as opposed to the word page or a relevant abbreviation. I was also unsure how to fill up the content page, but as a result of the feedback I received, I now intend to alter the background color of the page, I am not sure as to what color yet, and to include more photos of dogs, as well as including images of pawprints throughout my whole article, to connect them together. This was especially helpful for me, as I was aware my content page was bland, an error that I will now be able to correct. My feature article was considered to be good, but I was informed to try and condense it slightly more, which, while I am not sure I will be able to do for any significant degree, I will certainly attempt to do. Overall, I feel that my main issue has been a lack of good images, as my feature article and the information were deemed acceptable. Thanks to the review from my peers, I have a better idea as to what I need to change specifically. I did not consider my project to be of an excellent quality, but I believe that I can now raise the quality to be at least, what I would consider to be good.

                 The creative process is extremely important when embarking upon a new endeavor in a field ripe with choices . When going over  the TED talk last week, the speaker talked about how when you think creatively, you can come up with unique solutions. Post - Production 1 "More Photos and Colored Pages"

     At this point in my editing, I reviewed some of the more common comments I received from my  peers and  thought it best to get some of the more prominent issues fixed before I move on to the les s common feedback I received. The  most prominent issue I am aware of was my lack of photos, and while I am not entirely convinced I have enough yet, the images I have placed are certainly an improvement, and I feel that they make my magazine feel l ess empty. The other major piece of feedback I received was that I should add a color to my pages in order to make the background less unnecessarily bright   as it looked with a white background. To make up for this, I used a rectangular box the same size as the page and turned it to a light shade of blue. I then used the arrange feature t o send it to the very back of the layer.
