Production 6 "Import and Rewrite 1/13/21"

 

    I have imported some of my images into InDesign, as well as the feature article itself. While I attempted to trim more of it, I did not end up feeling comfortable with what was left, so it ended up remaining around three and a half pages. I did manage to find some lines that I could remove, condense, or combine together, so with that in mind I managed to cut it down to three pages. In addition to this, I ended up having to take new photos, as the older ones did not really suit the article very well. The newer ones were still not of the best quality, but given my camera quality, despite being newer, was still not as good as I believed it would be, I had to make do with some lower quality images. I know that there are some issues with the images, but once I get a proper peer review, I will have a more concrete idea as to what those issues are, and therefore be able to fix them. At this point, the only item I have left is the table of contents.

                 The creative process is extremely important when embarking upon a new endeavor in a field ripe with choices . When going over  the TED talk last week, the speaker talked about how when you think creatively, you can come up with unique solutions. Post - Production 1 "More Photos and Colored Pages"

     At this point in my editing, I reviewed some of the more common comments I received from my  peers and  thought it best to get some of the more prominent issues fixed before I move on to the les s common feedback I received. The  most prominent issue I am aware of was my lack of photos, and while I am not entirely convinced I have enough yet, the images I have placed are certainly an improvement, and I feel that they make my magazine feel l ess empty. The other major piece of feedback I received was that I should add a color to my pages in order to make the background less unnecessarily bright   as it looked with a white background. To make up for this, I used a rectangular box the same size as the page and turned it to a light shade of blue. I then used the arrange feature t o send it to the very back of the layer.
